ABSTRACT
This chapter offers a review of possible retrofit types and techniques available today, such as the application of metal panels and thermal insulation, render and thermal insulation, double or triple windows, internal thermal insulation, mechanical and electrical upgrades, heating systems upgrade and renewable energies. Categorisation of the towers according to the type of retrofit applied and further regional statistics are provided.
