ABSTRACT
Rajah Rasiah and Hema Subramonian demonstrate that Malaysian NIS witnessed considerable progress compared to Southeast Asian countries. Despite the considerable policy and financial support, university-industry relations emerge as the weakest link in the Malaysian innovation system.
