ABSTRACT
An evidence-based inquiry is an approach where students seamlessly learn science content and the nature by which scientific knowledge is produced in valid and reliable ways. The nature by which scientific knowledge is produced has long been a vital learning standard for some time. The practices of how scientific knowledge is developed have been termed “inquiry” and described by the National Research Council (NRC 2000) to consist of five essential features.
