ABSTRACT
The study has covered much ground since the opening discussion of markets and how they function, including property rights, law, and corporations; as well as efficiency, liberty, equality, and many other values that ground arguments about the role of ethics in business and economic life. The study examined links among personal ethics, self-interested incentives, and contrasting institutional arrangements. However, from this broader view of the forest rather than the trees, there may be further questions.
