ABSTRACT
In the introduction of this book we explained how the book purposely provides a platform for different interpretations of the gender and remittances nexus and, more implicitly, what this means for development. Giving space to these different interpretations also means that this book does not endeavour to present a single overall approach, framework or message. Indeed, it may appear from reading the various contributions to this book that the authors maintain different perspectives on certain issues. In this final chapter we summarize their different perspectives as related to the gender–remittances nexus, by delving into some of the key findings presented in the foregoing chapters.
