ABSTRACT
Microelectronics products are part of every modern computer system, from laptops to mainframes. It is, therefore, imperative that the performance, reliability, development cycle time and cost be optimized. One of the key elements in accomplishing these goals involves the role of modelling/simulation of the physical design at the conceptual stage of a new technology product.
