ABSTRACT
Description: Verluma consists of a Fab fragment of the murine monoclonal antibody NR-LU10, linked via a phenthiolate ligand to the radioisotope Technetium Tc 99m for radioimaging (Technetium Tc 99m Nofetumomab Merpentan). The antibody, which is produced by hybridoma technology, is specific for a glycoprotein expressed in numerous cancer and normal cells. Verluma is provided in a kit with separate components, which are necessary for the constitution of the final product before intravenous administration. The radioisotope Technetium 99m is not provided in the kit.
