ABSTRACT
After the severe financial crisis of 2001-2002, a new feminine leadership has developed in Argentina. This might be attributed to the failure of many previous prejudices and to the rise of diversity as a new cultural value. Today we can witness more women than men in public gyms, including participation in the martial arts, which was inconceivable 50 years ago.
