ABSTRACT
In this exploration of one of Shakespeare’s bloodiest and most powerful dramas, we make the most of the ‘ghostly’ elements of the text before entering the physical world of the play, Castle Dunsinane, and going on to imagine new dramatic possibilities through the eyes of the children of this martial community. We consider the character of Lady Macbeth and the final, climactic assault on the castle.
