ABSTRACT

Writing your report in the standard format Psychology reports are written in a standardised, conventional style or format. Unless otherwise stated, it is usual to use the format recommended by the American Psychological Association (APA). Indeed, the British Psychological Society recommends the use of the APA format. The following guide is based on the APA format and offers advice about how to break up the report into sections, what to include in each section, and how to reference other work. It also includes a section on how to write with clarity.
