ABSTRACT
Description: The active ingredient of Xolair is a humanized IgG1 K monoclonal antibody, which selectively binds to immunoglobulin E (IgE). The 149-kDa antibody is produced in a mammalian cell line and is presented as a sterile, preservative-free lyophilized powder destined for subcutaneous administration subsequent to reconstitution in a water-for-injection-based solvent. Reconstitution yields an active ingredient concentration of 125 mg/ml.
