ABSTRACT
A summary of recent work on women in medieval Wales, drawing both on pre-Conquest sources such as the 13th-century lawbooks, and post-Conquest sources such as the court rolls from Dyffryn Clwyd. Topics examined include female inheritance, marriage, women and the law, women and work, and women in the church.
