Contemporary Pedagogies of Medical and Health Professions’ Education
This novel series will focus on innovation and best practice in relation to curriculum design and teaching methodologies within the environments of medical schools, ultimately aiming to promote innovation in medical education. Books in the series offer cutting-edge examples of pedagogical techniques and practises through case studies and rigorous scholarship, and reflect subjects that medical schools are adapting in order to drive innovation such as the increasing role of patient-centred medicine or the expanding use of technology in medical curricula. Themes identified in the series have international relevance given the similarities around educating medical students and their interaction with other clinical professions, and showcase novel research methodologies and frameworks to aid teaching and learning and preparedness of the next generation of clinical professionals.
