Environmental and Occupational Health Series
This series presents the fundamentals of emerging issues in environmental and occupational health. It specifically focuses on their impact to human health. With advances in analytical technology, our understanding of environmental health issues has dramatically increased over the past several years. Topics such as drinking water treatment in austere environments, air pollution in urban and developing areas, indoor air quality, and emerging contaminants in wastewater treatment are relevant to today’s researchers and policy makers. Likewise, protection for workers’ health is ever-increasing, and this series addresses the state-of-the-art in topics such as respiratory protection, radiation protection, engineering controls, and management techniques.
The 2020 Taylor and Francis Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Professor Adedeji B. Badiru in honor of making significant and pioneering contributions in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and related disciplines and for his extensive publication record including books, book chapters, and also serving as the Series Editor or Co-Series Editor of “Systems Innovation Book Series”, “Environmental and Occupational Health Series”, and “Analytics and Control Series”.
