Intersectional Criminology

Intersectional Criminology brings together original and innovative books that address the role and impact of identities and power dynamics regarding crime, criminality, and the criminal legal system. Titles in this series showcase critical empirical research from researchers across the globe, on a range of topics such as crime, violence, criminality, criminalization, victimization, and the purposes and processes of the criminal legal system and its agents. The series is multi-method and includes quantitative and qualitative research, as well as more innovative methodology such as historical archival research; visual ethnography; critical discourse analysis and content analysis. In doing so, this innovative series offers an intellectual space for the development of this bold new direction in criminology.
