New Methodologies of Research for PhD and Beyond
This open access series examines how digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping research methodologies in the social sciences and management, integrating epistemology, ethics, data practices, AI tools and research communication across the full research lifecycle.
Bringing together philosophical foundations, quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods, data stewardship, AI-enabled analysis and scholarly communication, the series equips researchers to design, conduct, analyse and disseminate research in digitally mediated environments. Each volume combines methodological instruction with critical reflection on bias, interpretability, ethics, transparency and reproducibility, ensuring that computational tools remain theoretically grounded and socially accountable.
The series is written for doctoral students, early-career researchers and established scholars in the social sciences, management and interdisciplinary fields who are engaging with digital data, AI and computational methods, as well as supervisors and research teams seeking an integrated methodological framework.
The series is published on an open access basis, with publication fees funded by WSB University, enabling free and immediate access to all volumes and supporting equitable participation in global research communities.
