Critical Approaches to the Early Years
This series is aimed at students and professionals working with or for children and their families in the pre-birth to eight years-old age range. Books in the series will promote critical reflective practice at graduate level, with commentary on professional practice from different perspectives, critical debate, and underpinning research evidence and theory. All books in the series include helpful visual guides to chapter contents, case studies to illustrate and contextualise the theory, critical questions to develop higher level academic skills, and reflections on key ideas. The series is edited by Chelle Davison and Susan Waltham.
